Edmond Blanchard NPOV Dispute

[edit]

Hi there; I am sorry I did not put this in right away, but I was rushed. please see Talk:Edmond Blanchard for my short comments. Thanks for your attention. Shagmaestro 04:37, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your help on the Wind-class icebreaker article, but unfortunately the Canadian Forces Maritime Command was not an entity until February 1, 1968, and the HMCS Labrador was in service with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1954 through 1958. I have therefore reverted your edit to point to the correct historical article so that the history of this ship class stays in the proper context. Maxarre 04:50, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Allison-brewer.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Allison-brewer.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:39, 7 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 00:39, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help

[edit]

Can you help me understand what is going on at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pedophobia and whether I should continue to try to "save" the article? I'm not sure what the etiquette is, aside from stepping back - but if I don't who will?!? Thanks. Freechild 07:07, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bobrae-premier.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu Badali 14:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Allison-brewer.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. The image page does in fact say who created the contect - her leadership campaign - and that it was distributed freely. - Jord 15:40, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Being "distributed freely" doesn't implyies it's free to be used for any purpose. For instance, if we can't modify the image, it's not free enough for Wikipedia (because Wikipedia's content is supposed to be modifiable by anyone. I'm listing the image for deletion. --Abu Badali 22:45, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Better Source Request for Image:Allison-brewer.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Allison-brewer.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. MECUtalk 20:24, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

All the information you posted on my talk page would be awesome to have on the image description page. You should put all that on the talk page and you can remove the BSR template. Every little bit helps when trying to determine source information. That url has an email we can use for more information too, for example.--MECUtalk 20:39, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I removed the IFD since it was listed on Jan21, admins processed that date and didn't delete this image, so I guess the result was Keep/No consensus, though the IFD doesn't say anything. I would recommend that you actually use this under fair use by using Template:Non-free fair use in because the restrictions that "we cannot modify it" are a limitation that is not compatible with the GFDL. You have a strong argument for justifying the use (read: rationale) of this image already on the image: she is retired from public life, making the likelihood of a free image being created or found very small (you can put that on the description page as well). See WP:FURG for help in writing the rationale (but you're halfway done!). I think this image will be kept around here (provided it's used) for a long, long time. --MECUtalk 20:30, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bob Rae image

[edit]

What discussion? On the image's talk page, there was no dispute that it was acceptable. On the more broad discussion page, it was not disputed. An administrator, User:Zanimum, removed your tag for deletion and declared that the image should be kept. Is your complaint that it is the lead photo? The image belongs with the infobox which is at the lead, if so, I will move it down the article. - Jord 16:57, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I was referring the unfinished discussion at the image's talk page. User:Zanimum is the admin that had committed most image abuses that I'm aware of. I would suggest you to avoid his guidance. We don't use unfree image to depict living people, and we don't need an image him young just because the article mentions what he did when he was young. --Abu Badali 17:09, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please help me as an Advocate on the Sulla Article

[edit]

Hi I am in a dispute with Vpf15 over one section of Sulla and as a history buf, I thought you maybe best able o help resolve it:

This lesson in supreme confidence, Caesar later ridiculed - "Sulla did not know his political ABCs". In retrospect, of the two, Sulla was to have the last laugh, as it was he who died in his own bed [1].

Vpf15 is now removing links validating my point - "Sulla was to have the last laugh, as it was he who died in his own bed"

An help, advice, arbitration etc... you can give will be much appreciated...( fairly full section on this at the end of article discussion page). regards Sulla16 2-25-07

Hi. I am removing PoV comments. Expressions such as "lesson in supreme confidence" and "to have the last laugh" don't belong in a factual article. As it stands, the text is PoV and I am removing it. Instead of rewriting it to more neutral wording, Sulla 16 is expanding the text to make it even more PoV. Sulla16 seems like a wikipedia neophyte, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he should learn to initiate compromise. Vincent 01:48, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry but I do not have time to take this on at present. I suggest you open a request for advocacy or, if more appropriate, request for moderation. - Jord 22:39, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You posted during a time where I was reassessing my desire to participate in Wikipedia, which is still ongoing. However, in regards to you arbitration request, I have had no personal run-ins with User:Abu_badali, only bearing witness to a pattern of orphaning that appears to be a violation of WP:NOT#SOAP against fair use criteria. After review, this user's edits do not strike me as being in good faith. And I feel it fairly clear that he is targeting users that stand up to him or speak out against him by going through their contributions with the intent to orphan their images, , which is WP:HAR#Wikistalking. Additionally I note that his user page even declares his intention as such with the phrase "Expect me to read through your logs." You may cite me, and I am willing to sign to the effect. However, I have nothing to really add beyond this. -- jsa 02:22, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please be my AMA, they are torture me too much

[edit]

Hello, I used to post on my room-mates acount name Babalooo and just started this name. Some others are torturing me on the Babalooo name account saying I am Rootlogy and put a giant warning label there too many times. Mostly Hipocrite is his name. Only the administrators are to put the warning labels yes? I have only made too few posts but they are on 9/11 to proof the many errors and lies of the top USA Bush administrations about 9/11 (like President Bush reading for too long, and Mr Andy Card starts saying that President Bush left the schoolroom as soon as he told him of the attacks one year after. The teacher says this also) There is no mention of any of the errors of the Bush administrations in any of the 9/11 articles that I read and I want to add a tiny little bit so they torture me. Did you know that I add that President Bush was first against the 9/11 commission and they remove this even? There is a conspiracy to not mention any errors by President Bush administrations or the mysteries. This is a plot and coverup by the Bushistas yes? They just threw away Lovelight who writes so well and are torturing Mr Baseball. I feel like a prisoner at Abu Gharib. Too much torture on me. I thank you to help me. Would you possibly be able to help guide Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Abu badali towards Abitration or would you konw of someone who could help? I note that you created User:Jord/ArbCom-Abu badali so it appears you have some interest in this. Months after my last contact with Abu badali, he has just returned to his old ways by nominating for deletion images which have already been specifically reviewed and cleared by an administrator. I am spitting mad over this, and the fact that another editor who has also had trouble with him in the past has again been targetted, and I want some action. There is clearly strong support in favour of something needing to be done, but I don't feel confident enough in the process etc to create an Arbitration Case. Some images

[edit]

I'm avoiding the automated messages to prevent any extra stress. While reviewing the page List of New Brunswick premiers I've noticed the image Image:Richardhatfield.jpg lack verifiable source information. Is this image really owned by the Canadian government?

Also, Image:Louisrobichaud1960s.jpg, tagged as PD, lacks any source info. Just like Image:JohnMcNair.jpg.

I haven't examined all the images in the article.

As a side question, being just a "list" article, do you believe the usage of unfree material is justified?

Hope you take this in the spirit it's was meant to. Best regards, --Abu badali (talk) 18:18, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, isn't Image:Camille theriault.jpg a non-commerical-only licensed image? --Abu badali (talk) 18:22, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Brunswick premier images

[edit]

With respect to your comments...

1.) With respect to the use of unfree material on list pages, I have no opinion on that matter, I am not a lawyer and I am not familiar with copyright laws and liability. I do know that in general Wikipedia prefers free images, but, that when a free image is not available, unfree images are allowed on a limited basis. You should note that the last time I editted that list page, there were no images on it.

2.) With respect to the specific images you have cited, three of are dead politicians where no free replacement would be able to be found. The fourth is of a retired politician who is no a business man who I suppose a free image could be found of perhaps at the Annual General Meeting of the company he heads.

- Jord 20:28, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you didn't fully understood my comments (or maybe I failed to make myself clear). I didn't mentioned the question of using unfree images of living/dead people at all. I just asked for (verifiable) source information for the 3 first images and about the seemly contradictory licensing information on the last one. Let me know if I'm still not being clear. Thanks for your time. --Abu badali (talk) 20:35, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I am still not sure I see your issues, I will go through them blow-by-blow:
I'm afraid "Senate of Canada" and "New Brunswick government" are not verifiable source information. Can you be more specific?
In Image:Camille theriault.jpg, the comments says the image can be used for "personal" use and "non-commercial use", but the tag used says "The copyright holder allows anyone to use it for any purpose". Non-comercial is surely a restriction over "any purpose". That's the contradiction that I meant.
Image:Louisrobichaud1960s.jpg was tagged for deletion. I understand you uploaded it long ago in a good faith attempt to help Wikipedia. I hope, as the experienced user you are now, you understand we can't keep this image the way it is.
Best regards, --Abu badali (talk) 21:15, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you have the time, consider adding a fair use rationale for these images, explaining why they are needed and how they are ok with our policy. Let me know if I can be of any help. --Abu badali (talk) 21:20, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've searched the Senate and New Brunswick websites and found links to the specific pages from which these images came which I hope is specific enough? I am not sure why the burden for that should be on the original uploader of an image; it seems to me that if Wikipedia wants to be the repository of as much information as possible then we should err on the side of caution and, rather than delete images as soon as their is some suspision that they are not free, work to find sources and details to justify their use. Perhaps that is overly optomistic of me.
With respect to the Theriault image, if I have selected the wrong tag, I apologize. If you would be so kind as to match the tag with the copyright information, as you seem to be far better read in areas of Wikipedia images than I, I would appreciate it.
Finally, for the Robichaud image, I do not in fact understand why it cannot be kept. It is a very useful image whose use would be justified if it was free or not, therefore why should it not be able to be kept under fair use/source unknown or some similar classification? - Jord 21:24, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the source information on Image:Richardhatfield.jpg and Image:JohnMcNair.jpg seems ok now. Thanks for that. I guess the burden is on the uploader exactly because the uploader is the one making the claiming about the copyright info. If I say one image is copyrighted by the "Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan", why should anyone other than me be encumbered with the task to provide evidence of this claim?
About the "Theriault image", as it's licensed for non-commercial use, the tag would be {{Db-noncom}}, that happens to be a speedy-delete tag, as Wikipedia don't accept non-commercial-only licensed material. Being unfree, this image could only be used in Wikipedia if in accordance with our policy on unfree content usage. As this image is currently being used solely to illustrate the look of a living person, I believe it fails the very first item in our's policy criteria.
About the "Robichaud image", please understand that we can't keep an image just because it's "very useful". We can never say that the image use "would be justified if it was free or not" if the source is unknown. One important point in our policy on unfree material (and in Fair Use law) is the effect in the original market role of the material. Without knowing where an image comes from, we can hardly claim that our use won't interfere withe the image's original market role. That's one of the reasons not to accept unsourced images.
Let me know if you still have any doubts or if I can still be of any help. Best regards, --Abu badali (talk) 12:53, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Louisrobichaud1960s.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Louisrobichaud1960s.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL.

If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:10, 15 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 21:10, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cpcml.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cpcml.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 17:29, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added myself to the list. Thanks for the notice. Trevor GH5 13:55, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Camille_theriault.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 11:20, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:DavidOrchard.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DavidOrchard.jpg.

Thank you. Garion96 (talk) 10:07, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jord. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. Rettetast 19:46, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:JohnMcNair.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:JohnMcNair.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. AfD nomination of Maxime Bernier

[edit]

An editor has nominated Maxime Bernier, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maxime Bernier and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:01, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Pcnb.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Pcnb.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Pcnb.jpg)

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Pcnb.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 19:37, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Nbndp-leadership-candidates-2005.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.allisonbrewer.ca/vote-e.html. I noticed that that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Fair use rationale for File:NBcabinet2006.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:NBcabinet2006.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. The article Opinion polling in the Canadian federal election, 2006/Old projections has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

lonestanding list of opinion polls of an election that's over, lacks notability, looks like it was supposed to be a subpage (?)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Jord! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 24 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dale Graham (CEO). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hello. I am trying to clear up the backlog at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Articles_lacking_sources_from_October_2006. The article by the above title is lacking reliable sources. Can you help out? Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 06:40, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Colby Fraser has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced BLP of a "perennial candidate" who has never been elected to anything.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
