Headers
[edit]This needs headers badly, I started installing them, but balked when I found that I'd have to reorder stuff to make them fit perfectly. perhaps I'll just to it anyway, but I'd like to see how other pages solve this problem first.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.255.199.86 (talk • contribs) on 2 September 2004
- I went ahead and made headers for micro-topics, rather than attempting to rewrite to make the topics broader. - BanyanTree 06:47, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
US Dollar vs Sudanese Pound
[edit]I have readjusted IMF pre-1995 data in the ratio 1 Sudanese Dinar = 10 Sudanese Pounds. Dollar variation is presumed constant. Anwar 19:41, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
ITC external link on trade data
[edit]Hello everyone, I am working for the International Trade Centre (ITC). I would like to propose the addition of an external link that could lead directly to the specific country’s trade data held by ITC. I would like you to consider this link under the WP:ELYES #3 prescriptions. Moreover, the reliability and the pertinence of this link can be supported by the following facts 1) ITC is part of the United Nations 2) No registration is required 3) Trade data (imports/exports) are regularly updated 4) The link gives direct access to the trade database of the specific country 5) The addition of reliable trade data to the Economy section of the country could provide an appropriate contribution to the information therein contained. Thank you for your attention.Divoc (talk) 13:17, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Economy of Sudan
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Economy of Sudan's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Proposed merge of Inflation in Sudan into Economy of Sudan
[edit]Not notable on its own merits Rogermx (talk) 18:29, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
- This is too detailed to be included in Economy of Sudan. For example, readers of Inflation in Sudan may want to know the inflation rates in Sudan in the 1970s, but readers of Economy of Sudan probably do not. There are plenty of sources discussing inflation in Sudan other than this one; it meets WP:GNG. Calliopejen1 (talk) 18:02, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Labor force in Sudan into Economy of Sudan
[edit]Not notable on its own merits Rogermx (talk) 18:32, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
- I disagree; there are certainly sufficient sources to have an article about the labor force of an entire country, and this has excessive detail for an article about an overview of the economy. Calliopejen1 (talk) 18:03, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- You have a writer who is lifting sections from a US Government book on Sudan and putting them in different Wikipedia articles. Rogermx (talk) 18:07, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, that is me. Do you have concerns about the accuracy of the content? Calliopejen1 (talk) 18:09, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Support merge; the content is fine, and appropriately copied from text in the public domain. The article on Economy of Sudan is relatively short, and can easily accommodate the proposed incoming material, which itself will benefit from better context. Klbrain (talk) 05:40, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
